WHAT WE AIM TO ACHIEVE?
The Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) programme creates awareness on poverty, global inequality, human rights and sustainability. We encourage people to question their daily lifestyle choices and their impact on the world. We seek to highlight viable alternatives in order to promote positive changes in the participants in favour of a fairer society and cleaner environment.
The long term goal of the project is to empower society with citizens that are able to make informed decisions which reduce local and global poverty, promote a cleaner environment on a global scale and improve the welfare of the local community.
We know that there's a lot more to do to achieve the sustainable and pro-environmental society that we are working towards but we also know that the longest journeys start with the first step.
